  • What is Dingadeal?
    Dingadeal.com is a reverse auction platform for groups of 8 people or more who are seeking accommodation. It allows groups communicate to hotels what they want and invites hotels to chase them for their custom. Dingadeal.com also takes the hassle away from the group organiser by offering rooming list functionality and a unique group payment system that invoices each individual group member for their share of the bill.

  • How is Dingadeal.com different from traditional booking engines?
    Dingadeal.com is different to the traditional online booking engine because it hands power back to the customer. With sites like expedia.com and bookings.com, customers chase hotels to make a booking by accepting the static online price. Dingadeal.com operates using a completely different ethos which inverts this relationship. It allows our users to communicate to hotels what they want and invites those hotels to chase them for their custom.

  • How long will it take for hotels to make me an offer?
    After you have submitted your quote request on our site hotels will have 24 hours to get back to you with their best offer. This is exclusive of weekends - our research has shown that not all hotels have the staff available to make high quality offers at the weekend. We want to create a level playing field where all hotels get equal opportunity to bid for your business.

  • How long do I have to accept an offer?
    When the hotels have finished bidding you will have 24 hours to accept one of the offers made by the hotels.

  • What is the main advantage of using Dingadeal.com?
    Dingadeal.com is the faster, cheaper and better way for groups to book hotels. Dingadeal will help you save time and money by allowing hotels to tender for your group's business. You no longer have to spend hours on the phone looking for the best deal possible, you can now do this all online.

  • How do I pay for a booking?
    You will pay the hotel directly. Each hotel’s payment policy will differ; some hotels may require a deposit or a pre-authorised credit card after booking. Others will require you to pay for your booking when you arrive at the hotel.

  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Each hotel has their own individual cancellation policy. Please make yourself aware of this cancellation policy. Any charges associated with a cancellation will be deducted by the hotel.

  • Do I need to pay a deposit?
    This will depend on the hotel you choose. Some hotels require a deposit for group bookings whereas others do not. The hotels' deposit requirements will be specified when they make you an offer.

  • How will I receive notification that my booking has been confirmed?
    You will receive notification via email that your booking has been confirmed. The accommodation provider will also receive notification via email and will contact you to confirm the details.
